Canadian poet Al Purdy’s A-frame house, “made out of second-hand lumber and original poetry, became the most famous writer’s house in the country.” The Purdy A-frame project is raising funds to purchase and preserve the property, create an endowment and establish a poet-in-residence program. Make a donation to the Al Purdy A-frame Trust, or purchase a copy of The Al Purdy A-Frame Anthology to help support a new generation of emerging Canadian writers.
